TCC inherited an overgrown, out of control outdoor area which had originally housed a portacabin and a number of sheds.

Intent on recapturing the outside space to create an area which could be used by members and the local community, the management and programme co-ordinators searched for national help through Love Your Garden.

 

Eventually, support was received through the Colliers Wood Councillors' Ward Allocation Scheme 2023-26.

 

After researching local gardeners and lanscaping companies, the work was undertaken by AnsaGardenDesigns Ltd.

Supported by Goodgym volunteers, neighbours and user members,

we have completed phase 1 of the revamp of the outside space at the centre.

​Project Overview
The garden revamping project aimed to transform the existing outdoor space into a more functional,
sustainable, and visually appealing environment. The project clearing and reusing as much of the
materials already in the garden, enhancing accessibility, and creating designated areas for relaxation
and community activities.
